Want to know what our customers think of us? Here are some of the things they have said...

Having arrived in Haworth after a 3-train journey from London we were ready to eat. All the pubs seemed to be ok and comparable but we are so glad we chose The Kings Arms. It’s an old pub beautifully restored and decorated and the barman (Manager?) was really friendly and welcoming. I am very fussy when it comes to battered fish and chips and more often than not won’t order because it’s usually all batter and no fish, but I am so glad I took a chance here. Thin, crispy batter filled with fish that actually tasted of the sea. Huge, fat crispy chips and mushy peas made it complete. Heaven on a plate. I only had a soft drink but the boyfriend had the local ale and was so impressed he took a photo and emailed it to his mates (apparently there is no comparison between London and northern beers). Would highly recommend for just a drink or one of their delicious pub lunches.

Stayed in Haworth over Christmas and visited the Kings Arms a few times. The Staff were really friendly and the pub was very welcoming. I recommend the Steak night, it was a fab meal and the price was really reasonable.  Hope to return back to Haworth again and will definitely return to the Kings Arms.

Newly refurbished, this pub is well worth a visit. The beers are all locally brewed, and named after the Bronte sisters. The food is said locally to be very good.

I would say I have been to the Kings now a handful of times, twice with my wife, steak night with friends, our children over the Christmas period and every Monday without fail it's just me and the dog (the wife's at her WI meeting shh). The refurbishment has completely turned the whole place around for the better, the toilets are very clean, decorated well, warm and smell nice. In the ladies toilets my wife and daughter in law said they have a basket with "women's bits in it" I don't know what that means but they were pleased. From walking in you're greeted by smiling friendly staff who are well dressed in their tweed waistcoats, they match the era very well, also the landlord is a pleasure to chat with and comes across very passionate about the ales and Bronte Sisters theme they are achieving. It's different but it works and is perfect for Haworth village.Check out the real ales they're named Emily, Charlotte and Anne, the Porter is very tasty too.I like the Emily which is the Airdale. On first arrival I was served quickly and was shown their cask ales by a lovely polite and friendly barmaid who's served us food before. We've also met a young chap who is very friendly and helpful. The staff were very fast and efficient even though they were packed and very busy they still made us feel important and the locals are friendly too which always makes a difference. My wife likes how well one young lady in particular fits in very well with the era as her accent is very old English, well spoken from the South I believe. Very accommodating and nice to talk to. A nice change from us northern folk. She offered to let me try between the blond which is a pale ale and the Airdale which I loved. My wife flips from the fancy gins they do to Charlotte which is the Holy Cow, the taste is impeccable and at very good prices, especially on Monday which is cask ale club £2 a pint. Also being dog friendly just tops this place off. We've eaten here a few times now being steak night, Victorian Sunday roast and lunch. You can't go wrong with their fish and chips, you get a huge tasty fish, mushy peas and their skin on chips which are the best chips I've ever tasted.I always have the Steak and Ale Porter pie which is very tasty but this time I had the Tuna Steak...WOW! The Wild Bore stew and dumplings or the Lamb Rump are next for me.Finally a good atmosphere in the kings Arms, it's cosy, friendly, 10/10 food and waitress service from a lovely country pub with a difference of touch of class and is dog friendly! We love visiting Haworth itself so I'm happy we've found a pub we enjoy and love visiting.
